Heysham Port - Tanker Spillage ****Post update*** Port is now open again and drop off/collections are now free flowing. Heysham Port is currently closed to all traffic as emergency services deal with a tanker spillage on the terminal. Vessels cannot be discharged until safe to do so. Trailers arriving into the port are being diverted to the M6 link road. We will update you on the situation throughout the morning. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

We wish to advise that NORBAY will go to annual dry dock on Saturday 1 August and return on Wednesday 19 August. This means that a revised schedule will be in place on the Dublin – Liverpool route during this period. Mandatory Wearing of Face Masks whilst travelling with P&O Ferries The use of a face covering is a legal requirement, at all times, on board ships and must cover the mouth and nose from the moment the driver leaves their cab having been loaded to the vessel. The mask must be worn at all times, except when they are in the restaurant. P&O's Ship Wardens politely remind all tourist and freight passengers please ensure to wear a face coverings as required to travel.

We would like to inform you that Dover Harbour Board (DHB) are launching a new Out of Gauge application form on Tuesday 7 July. The new form will be completed and submitted entirely online. The new procedure will require for you to first make a booking and then visit DHB’s website to fill out the Out of Gauge form. As of the 01/07/2020 only euro 5 and 6 vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are able to cross Frejus, and Mont Blanc tunnels. Euro 3 and 4 are no longer permitted through Mont Blanc at all. Frejus tunnel will still allow euro 3 and 4 to cross until 31/09/2020, but only if a replacement vehicle has been ordered, but has been delayed due to Covid19.
